Miracles in the UK - November 2006

The Word of God declares that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever ! (Heb.13:8). We should expect Jesus to do the same things today, anywhere in the world , as He has done in the past…He never changes ! In recent weeks, The Lord has done some wonderful miracles , as well as saving a good number of people , in every church we have had the opportunity to serve . Here are a few encouraging examples of the way Jesus is moving , healing the sick in the U.K. today...

Sidley Baptist Church, near Bexhill-on-sea (20-22 Oct.) :

The Lord confirmed His Word with many miracles of healing and some deliverance , both in the training seminar on sat. evening, and in the healing outreach service on the Sunday evening…deaf were able to hear again, many back and joint conditions were instantly healed, and it was a real joy to see an older man who could not walk properly after a recent stroke, put down his stick and begin to walk and then run freely round the church after prayer in Jesus’ name ! There was much rejoicing ! Pastor David Bishop remarked: “ Those four young people you led to Christ two weeks ago have brought seven others to Christ since then. Our non-existent youth group is now 14 strong. This morning, I gave time for testimony…40 minutes later we continued in worship ! Salvation and healings were celebrated. Praise God !”

City Gates Church, Ilford, Essex (5th Nov.):

This is a thriving and fairly sizeable Church, which is growing at quite a pace…and there were a number of people saved during the three Sunday services, and many healings. At least six people with hearing problems were instantly healed and able to hear again , and many back and joint conditions were healed. To see the joy on people’s faces as they “tested” their healings in front of everyone, and could move freely , without any pain at all, or hear perfectly well etc…was a great encouragement to everyone ! There were also a number of people baptised in the Holy Spirit for the first time, speaking freely in other tongues.

Cheam Community Church, Surrey (12th Nov.am):

It was good to be home again after quite an extended time of travel ! Having preached on “Jehovah-Rapha” (The Lord is our Healer), it was again wonderful to see the Lord confirm His Word with signs following, this time notably on one man whose upper arm (Top “ball-part” of the arm joint) had actually frozen to the shoulder joint over a number of years. He had not been able to move it around at all for a long time. Following prayer in Jesus’ name, it was instantly and completely free…joyful tears flowed in the family as they saw what the Lord had done, particularly since this man and his wife had only “popped in” as visitors to see their daughter who re-committed her life to the Lord at Cheam C.C. last week ! Further more, another lady who has suffered with scoliosis since childhood (now in her thirties) was totally released from all pain and showed total freedom of movement after prayer. To God be all the glory !

City Coast Church, Brighton (12th Nov. pm):

Several people came to Christ , and a number were healed in this short service in Brighton . One young man testified that as the Word was spoken, and he acted in faith by raising his hand to say he was healed , all the swellings in his mouth instantly disappeared ! Others were again healed of back and joint conditions, and a lady who had a tumor on her breast later testified that it had shrunk considerably during the service…we trust God for her complete healing !

Jesus is doing many wonderful things in this country of ours …we must always honour Him and expect great things of Him …He is a faithful God, and to Him belongs all the praise !
