Mission to Aarhus, Denmark: 4th-10th Sept.’06We were privaledged to return to the Pentecostal Church in Aarhus this year admist a major festival. Are job was simple, to equip the believers and to reach our on the streets to the thousands of people who were attending the city wide festival.Every September , the city of Aarhus, Denmark, hosts some sort of cultural celebration for the first week of September, normally based on a singular theme. This year, the theme was “women”. We were invited to lead a team of people from the U.K. and about 30 international Bible School Students from a nearby college in outreach, with some “impact training” course teaching involved too. It was a wonderful time…the Holy Spirit fell again and again, both on the students and on people in the streets, many of whom were healed, and a good number responded for salvation. I think the day most enjoyed, with the greatest impact for the Gospel was when Steve Murray (Professional mime artist, and good friend ) took to the streets with the team, some of whom were dancers and musicians, and together they all proclaimed the Gospel in word, dance, mime, and miracles, leading many to Christ. Picking up the theme of the week, I preached every night on women whose lives were impacted and changed through an encounter with Jesus Christ, making sure that we reached the men too ! Night after night the Holy Spirit fell, healing, releasing and changing lives. It was a joy to be back with our good friends at Aarhus Pentecostal Church, and to see the hand of God moving in power and compassion on the people of Denmark.
