90,973 First Time Commitments to Christ in India - Dec 2005
Thousands upon thousands responded to Jesus as Jonathan gave the call
to repent. I watched in amazement as thousands of Hindus and Muslims
ran forward to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. Here comes the
full report...
In the last month of 2005, the Valley Ministries Team returned to Bhimaveram on the East cost of India in region of Andra Pradesh. We arrived to do two missions and two pastors conferences for the area wide church leaders. We had been at the end of 2004 and had seen a reported 53,000 people saved and over 186 new churches established.
 
This time was no different! I watched the large mission site on the first evening with 90.973 people who had come to hear Jonathan minister. Tears broke into my eyes as the appeal was made and the sea of hands rose to the air as the multitude responded to the call to repentance. Thousands upon thousands responded to give their lives to Jesus Christ.
As the nights went by, I watched as countless men and women were instantly healed by the spoken word. Deaf ears opened, blind eyes seeing, countless cripples walking. We can only wait till the next time we go back again to see what has been going on.
 Jonathan says, "It is with great joy and thankfulness to God and to you, our faithful partners who have stood with us prayerfully and financially, that we can report that in our recent Gospel campaigns in Bhimavarham and Rajamundri, Andre Pradesh, India, over 74,000 people registered their decision to receive and follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour ! Miracles abounded as the Mighty name of Jesus was lifted high and the Word of God was spoken in faith. To Him be all the glory !
Right from the beginning, the pastors were ignited in faith as they learned to minister effectively to the sick in the Pastor’s conferences through the ministry of our good friends from Canada, Steve Stewart and Allen Remley. From the first night , thousands responded for salvation, and expectation began to rise as several children born with polio began to walk on the platform, and a number of deaf and blind people were healed, leading to what must certainly be the largest crowds in any Valley Ministries missions to date ! It is hard to say how many came to Christ in the following nights, as very evidently 10,000’s were responding and faith was high. Following the prompting of the Holy Spirit, even before the appeal for salvation was given, we began to invite the deaf, then those with tumours, then the blind, and then the crippled to stand and receive their miracle. They stood in waves, and as the Word of command was spoken in Jesus’ name, healings broke out everywhere. In some services, as many as 30 deaf, 40 growths, 20 blind and hundreds of joints were healed in a single service and hundreds, possibly thousands were baptised in the Holy Spirit.
One of the very exciting aspects of this mission were the village outreaches that went on spontaneously during the pastors conferences. Matt Bott, David, Sheena and Stephen Pailthorpe, Joseph Hassenally and Ray Roy went out into the surrounding villages, often starting by just ministering healing to a sick person, and very shortly a crowd would gather. From this they would preach the Gospel and many would come to Christ, often 30-40 at a time, and many lives were impacted and changed by the love and power of Jesus Christ !
 Moving on to Rajamundri, the second most “holy” city in Hinduism, we were met with very obvious spiritual opposition , and the atmosphere was remarkably “heavy”. We were well aware of our need to break through in intercessory prayer warfare, and as we stood in faith , taking communion together around that precious covenant we share with King Jesus in His blood, truly the Lord again broke through doing mighty miracles and seeing thousands respond to the Gospel. It was a great joy too to have our good friends Poul and Hanne Dalgarrd and Bergur Skovgarrd with us from Denmark, who ministered effectively in testimony, evangelism, and hands-on ministry to both the pastors and many individuals in the great crowds night after night.
The Pastors told us that no one had ever come to minister in Rajamundri who had helped and equipped the Pastors to move in the Holy Spirit , but by the end of our three days together, around 70 of the pastors were baptised in the Holy Spirit., moving in the prophetic and ministering healing in Jesus’ name ! Praise the Lord !"
