Many saved during our weekend Mission to Stockport, UK
It was a great joy to minister in Stockport over the weekend of April 28-30. We were invited by Pastors Paul and Janet Booth to minister in their church and the local Elim Church over the few days together , both in training the people to share their faith in Jesus with others, and to hold healing /evangelistic outreaches on the streets and in the churches.
The afternoon outreach event on the streets of Stockport was proof as ever that the Lord is moving powerfully here in the U.K. as He is anywhere in the world when believers are obedient to the Great Commission and go in His name ! About 35 people gave their lives to Christ in a few hours on the streets, happily giving their contact details to the team for follow-up (always a good sign !), and many were healed, including someone's sight restored in one eye after prayer, and another man who had a bandage up wrist and was in much discomfort moving it, could move it freely without pain after prayer . Thank God ! All in all, about 60 people gave their lives to Christ, Friday-Sunday...some in the youth outreach, conducted by some guys from the "Tribe", in which Steve and I had the opportunity to lead the kids to the Lord and pray for a number of them. Again, there were a numnber of healings. Sunday night was just a powerful time as the Holy Spirit fell and the scene looked more like a "battlefield" as bodies were laid out everywhere under the power of the Holy Spirit. We rejoice in all the Lord did and thank God He is moving in great power and compassion here in the U.K. too ! The people are hungry for Christ, and we must take Him to them ! How else can they know, believe and be saved ? (Rom. 10:13-15). Thank you for standing with us...together we are making a difference in Jesus' name !"
