Miracles, Miracles, Miracles - Mexico April 2007

On 10th April our team journeyed over to Cosamaloapan, Verracruz and joined a small team from the US and Canada to minister at a week long mission whilst running a pastors training course with some local leaders for four days.  During the mission we saw well over 2,000 give there lives to Christ.  We had the honor and the joy of witnessing countless miracles - a confirming doctors report of AIDS being defeated, cancer being destroyed, the once-blind see, the once-deaf now hear, the once-crippled now walk, arthritis defeated, bones set back in place!  It was amazing!  I could tell you story after story that would reveal to you more of the God's goodness, love, and power, but I'm just going to tell a few brief ones. Caleb, one of the team tells of his experiences:  “I got to walk hand-in-hand with a man who had not walked for 30 years. I witnessed a tenage boy who had been born 100% deaf in one ear get his hearing restored 100% in that same ear. I got to see about 60 convicted prisoners in a prison surrender their lives to Jesus and get filled with the Holy Spirit.  Then, right there in the prison, five deaf men were instantly healed in front of everyone in the meeting.”

On the last night of the crusade, we prayed that the sound of the gospel being preached would supernaturally project all the way into the city and nearby communities.  The next day we heard reports of different women right in the downtown area hearing the message, and one of them was healed of an injury from some accident as she heard a word of knowledge being spoken. As a group of us ministered on the streets, we only encountered one person who was opposed to our message. Our time in that town  in Caleb’s words, ‘awesome’.  We saw so many get saved, so many get healed, and so many leaders' fires get stoked up.  It was great!

On April 14, we returnded to Tuxtla, Chiapas.  Many of us split up on the morning 15th to minister at different churches.  Everyone came back with great reports of how God manifested Himself and touched people.  Then in the evening, we gathered for an interchurch healing service, in which we got to see, once again, more people saved and healed.  It was definitely another good day in God's kingdom.

I just wanted to end with one more thing.  Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who prayed for us.  You played a vital role in God moving through us and blessing a nation that is dear to His heart.  God's doing something special in Mexico, and you helped. It has been a great privilege to work again with a group of brothers totally on fire for Jesus and committed to the Gospel-this time a very international team- from U.K. Mexico, Venezuela, Spain, Bosnia, Holland, Denmark, and Canada. To see each of the team step out in signs and wonders, leading people to Christ, demonstrating the love of God and building up the Body of Christ with powerful teaching was wonderful !
