The Vision
Envision- To lift faith for the move of God through prophetic vision, impartation of the Word, and manifestation of the Spirit, believing ALL things are possible with God.
Encourage-to Build up, encourage and strengthen both leaders and the people they serve ! To facilitate unity and encourage through the prophecy and teaching.
Equip- To disciple, and train in the power of the Holy Spirit through conferences, short term training (on a teach-and-do basis !), and impartation.
Evangelise-To reach the lost by all means, preaching the Gospel with signs following , in short and longer term missions.
Establish- To plant new Churches where necessary, train and release ministries, and facilitate the care of the needy through orphanages and medical centres.
Values
As in all aspects of life and ministry, there are values upon which we build and release vision. In Valley Ministries, our heart values are :
1. To exalt Jesus in all we do, above ministry, reputation etc. He is to be worshipped and glorified above any other name!
2. To be Holy Spirit led and empowered in all aspects of God’s call.
3. To be faith-orientated-to live and minister by faith in God-for His provision, power and direction , trusting Him above all natural circumstances.
4. To have the Written Word of God as our final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, conduct and ministry.
5. To walk in integrity and accountability in life, doctrine and ministry.
6. To proclaim and demonstrate the Kingdom of God
7. To build the Body of Christ through words of faith, works of power, and acts of mercy.
8. Relationship above function.
9. Kingdom above stream.
10. Partnership, not ownership, or colonisation.
11. Servanthood, not dictatorship.
Strategy
1. In each nation/area, to discover the God-ordained partnerships through which we shall work in that nation or locality. We recognise that while all in Christ are family, there are those that God has called to work together for specific functions/purposes in His Kingdom.
2. Having established the contact of God’s choosing through relationship, prayer and seeking God, to implement the following four stages of ministry in line with the 5 “E’s” mentioned above:
a. to hold short term itineraries to establish contact with leaders and credibility of the ministry.
b. to hold conferences to help bring leaders together in unity, proclaim the Prophetic Word to that nation and equip leaders and their people in the power of the Holy Spirit. (In longer term, it may be necessary to establish a training centre in each nation to facilitate the training of new leaders for evangelism and Church planting in host nation and further afield).
c. Since all teaching/equipping must be put into practice to bear fruit, the conferences must be connected with the opportunity to be involved with missions.
d. If missions are held in unevangelised areas, it may be seen to be appropriate to plant a new Church in those areas, subject to there being leaders available to oversee the new work.
How you can help
1. Prayer : For there to be victory in the valleys, there must first be breakthrough in the high places ! We produce a monthly prayer letter called “prayer focus” to help you to pray knowledgably into the various aspects of the ministry and its outreach, plus a magazine called “Harvest Report” sent out twice a year, where you can see the results of your prayers and be encouraged with practical, faith-building teaching.
2. Share : The awesome truth of agreement in Scripture is that there is great power in partnership-one can put a thousand to flight, two can put ten thousand to flight ! What we agree upon in prayer will come to pass (Matt.18:19). However, that means people need to know what’s happening in order to partner together for a cause ! Share with others concerning what God is doing through the ministry. (info. About web-site, tapes etc.)
3. Serve: There is always need in a ministry such as this for help at conferences, on mission teams, and in many practical ways too. All you need is a positive reference from your Pastor, and to come to one of our short term training conferences to be involved.
4. Finance: To partner financially with a faith-filled vision to see God’s Kingdom radically impact the nations of the world is a wonderful and exciting prospect ! It takes finances to facilitate the equipping of the saints through conferences/training centres etc., to reach the lost through evangelistic missions and to care for the orphaned and needy. Please stand with us in faith, sowing financially into this great end-time harvest for God’s Kingdom. You can give a one-time gift, or on a regular basis.
